James Penner is Professor of Property Law at the Faculty of Laws, University College London. Since the publication of “The ‘Bundle of Rights’ Picture of Property” (UCLA Law Review 43: 711-820, 1996) and The Idea of Property in Law (Oxford: Clarendon Press, 1997) his work has become a reference point in the philosophy of property law. He has written widely on the philosophy of law, the philosophy of property and property law, and on the philosophical foundations of the common law. His email is firstname.lastname@example.org.
