In this paper, we respond to J. C. Bradbury’s commentary on our 2018 Regional Studies study which examines whether and to what degree state film incentives in the United States contributed to film production, industry specific employment, and the creation of new firms serving the motion picture industry.
This article is a response to Do Film Incentive Programs Promote Economic Activity? A Comment on O’Brien and Lane by John Charles Bradbury (EJW, March 2020).
