Brad Humphreys is an associate professor in the Department of Economics, College of Business and Economics, at West Virginia University. He has published more than 80 articles in academic journals in economics, public policy and sport management. He is editor-in-chief of Contemporary Economic Policy and serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Sports Economics as well as several sport management journals. In 2007 and 2008 he testified before the United States Congress on the economic impact of professional sports franchises and facilities.
