Daniel Sutter is the Charles G. Koch Professor of Economics with the Manuel H. Johnson Center for Political Economy at Troy University. He has published over 100 journal articles and book chapters. His research has spanned the areas of public choice, constitutional economics, Austrian economics, environmental economics, and the market for ideas, and covered topics including the constraint of government officials, the transition from authoritarian rule, automobile safety regulation, left bias in the news media and the academy, and the societal impacts of extreme weather.
