George F. DeMartino

George DeMartino is professor of economics in the Josef Korbel School of International Studies at the University of Denver, where he co-directs the MA Degree in Global Fi­nance, Trade and Economic Integration. He is author of Global Economy, Global Justice: Theoretical Objections and Policy Alternatives to Neoliberalism (Routledge, 2000) and The Economist’s Oath: On the Need for and Content of Professional Economic Ethics (Oxford University Press, 2011). He is co-editor with Deirdre N. McCloskey of The Oxford Handbook of Professional Economic Ethics (2016). At present, he is at work on The Tragedy of Economics: Harm, Economic Harm, and the Harm Economists Do as They Try to Do Good. His email address is george.demartino​@du.edu.
