Hilde Patron is a professor of economics and statistics and the Director of the Center for Business and Economics Research at the University of West Georgia. She has a Ph.D. in economics from Michigan State University. Her research focuses on applied macroeconomics, economic policy, and business analytics. Her interest in film incentives programs developed after participating in a study that evaluated the economic impact of Georgia’s film tax credit program led by the Georgia Department of Audits & Accounts.
