Julius Probst received his BSc from Maastricht University and his MSc in Economics from Lund University. He will defend his Ph.D. thesis in Economic History at Lund University in October 2019. His dissertation consists of articles in the field of empirical macroeconomic history. One article on global real interest rate dynamics has been published by the International Review of Economics and Finance. Two others discuss the capital share-labor share debate. He has written several popular science articles for The Conversation. He blogs about macroeconomics and economic history at macrothoughts.weebly.com (link).
