Karl Schmedders is Professor of Finance at IMD. Before joining IMD, Karl was Professor of Quantitative Business Administration at the University of Zurich and Associate Professor (with tenure) of Managerial Economics and Decision Sciences at the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, where he remains a Visiting Professor of Executive MBA Education. He holds an MS and a PhD in Operations Research from Stanford University. He is a Fellow of the Game Theory Society and an SAET Economic Theory Fellow. His email is karl.schmedders@imd.org.
