Olav Bjerkholt is professor emeritus in economics, University of Oslo, Norway. He worked in the Research Department of Statistics Norway for close to 30 years on input-output models, electricity studies, oil and gas analyses, disarmament studies, et al. His teaching has focused on natural resource economics and the history of economics. He has edited several volumes of work by Ragnar Frisch.
