Otto Pipatti studied sociology at the University of Helsinki, where he defended his doctoral thesis in 2017. His first book, Morality Made Visible: Edward Westermarck’s Moral and Social Theory, was published by Routledge in 2019. Currently, Pipatti is a visiting researcher at the Royal Anthropological Institute (RAI) in London, where he is working on a book, “The Origins of Human Social Nature: Westermarckian Sociology and Social Anthropology,” contracted with Palgrave Macmillan. The study is based on his book published in Finland in 2023 on the Westermarckian school. Pipatti has also contributed to the collection The Sociological Heritage of the Scottish Enlightenment (Edinburgh University Press, in press). His email address is email@example.com.
