Robert Higgs (Ph.D., Johns Hopkins University, 1968) is the senior fellow in political economy at The Independent Insti­tute and the founding editor and editor-at-large of The Independent Review. He is the author of ten books, editor of six books, and author of scores of articles in peer-reviewed professional journals and hundreds of articles in the popular press.
